We consider ourselves as theatrical performers first. Our shows are specifically designed to provide an intimate theater experience where the actors are literally within your reach. The intimacy and familiarity this approach offers is impossible to obtain from a larger theater. The audience always has the opportunity to interact and when the show is done they leave with the feeling that they were part of the production. We offer 1/2 hour productions often as an introduction to the Ghost Tour Performance, and our repertoire is growing and expanding toward our ultimate goal of freestanding productions.
Parlor Theater Shows are held at the Museum at 450 Royellou lane on the 4th Saturday of most months
Shows last about 1 hour & 15 minutes, cost is $10.00 per person reservtions required Call: (352) 406-5672

You have been lured to walk into this mysterious and strange place cluttered with the relics of times long gone. As you are invited to select your seat, you notice that the doors are locked, the lights are dimmed out, and instead, a number of candles illuminate the room producing shadows that make no sense. After the sound of a loud bell hurts your ears the two most bizarre rapscallions you have ever seen start talking to you about this sinister character named Dr. Nutter. You have no idea of what is going on; everything is confusing; their words are out of this time; the accents are out of this place; their clothes are way out of style; and the two interlocutors are obviously out of their minds. You cannot make any conclusions as you are being mentally pulled back and forth. Are they good or are they bad? Well, it is up to you to find the answer, if you survive coming acquainted with the KeyholeVortex...
Estimated time length 30-40 minutes

We are deeply saddened for the loss of this important feature of our Show.
Due to building logistical reasons and fire codes, the permanent puppetry stage had to be removed. It was indeed a beautiful piece on itself, built with salvaged historical wood once part of the Simpson House in Mount Dora.
We are now in the process of redesigning the puppetry machinery into a portable one more in tune with the growing changes of our repertoire. We will maintain this link to the puppetry page as a memorial to those visionary days. In the meantime, adieu!
