About the Tour....FAQ's .... Disclaimer .... and important information!


This is a lantern led tour through the shadowy streets and alley's of Old Mount Dora Florida and combines historical facts of the history of Mount Dora with legends myths and ghost stories relayed to us by townsfolk who mostly wish to remain anonymous.


The duration of this odyssey is about an hour and 15 minutes with the 1st 15 minutes being either a marionette show introduction, a live interactive theatrical oratory or both


The distance you will be walking is about three quarters of a mile and will have one resting location for a 3-5 minute sitting.

Tours are held rain or shine!


There are stairs during this tour but accommodations can be made for those in wheel chair or with some limitations on walking. Please notify us at the time of reservations if such a situation exists.


 Certified guide dogs are allowed but no other pets are permitted on the tour.


There is absolutely no smoking, (unless you recently spontaneously combusted) and no foul language, horseplay, recording devices or loud or boisterous behavior. We have the right to end ones tour and escort them to the museum or other mutual agreed upon area.

This can be a tiring journey for some, the hills coming up from the lowlands by the Lakeside Inn to the high point of Baker and 4th street can prove taxing for some. You are free to depart from the tour at any time after notifying your tour guide.

There is no touching, accosting or verbal abuse of tour attendees or individuals outside the tour.

Refunds are at the discretion of the ticket office or tour guide and only provided if the tour has not progressed past the 15 minute time passage.

You are advised to notify the staff in advance, either at the time of reservation and at the latest at the time of ticket issuance of any encumbrances, limitations, medical conditions, or psychological aberrations that may impede or adversely affect other attendees.
