The Mount Dora Ghost Walk is a privately created concept owned by Keyhole Society Productions, LLC. It originated in Mount Dora Florida, on September 8^th, 2008. The creators are currently donating part of the proceeds from its operation to the benefit of the Mount Dora Historical Society and other non-profit groups as a charity contribution.

Our mission is to provide education and entertainment about the city of Mount Dora and its history, through the use of theatrical or artistic presentations.

 

The  creators retain all ownership and control of copyrights, and own all the logos, designs, art work, stories, images and characters developed by them as part of the show, for the show, and promotion for the show, including all elements of the puppetry performances, theatrical vignettes, trademark names, domain names, story narrations, characters names, characters descriptions, props, props descriptions and the tour concept itself as performed. The use of all these elements is exclusive of Keyhole Society Productions, LLC and licensed under temporary agreement for the benefit of the Mount Dora Historical Society. No reproduction, distribution, reference, display or copying will be allowed or granted to any party without written agreement from Keyhole Society Productions, LLC.

 

The Mount Dora Ghost Walk and its creators have designed the concept as an entertainment and educational venue to promote Mount Dora through its history, and do not claim strict historical accuracy for any of the stories. However, all characters and stories, fictional or not, depicted or portrayed during the performances, are inspired form true historical events, historical people and historical places in and around Mount Dora, with the primary goal of maintaining a basic relevant historical and educational entertainment context. For the purpose of theatrical effect The Mount Dora Ghost Walk and its creators have taken creative artistic liberties for the stories. Any similarity with real or actual individuals, groups or events is just coincidence. The tours may involve topics that may be considered scary or sensitive, but the intention is to provide a family friendly entertaining event. The Mount Dora Ghost Walk and its creators do not claim having paranormal abilities, are not affiliated with any religious or spiritual groups, and do not intend to promote or refute any religious or spiritual beliefs. The purpose is only entertainment, historical education and artistic preservation.
